Title: Fra-gee-lay
Summary: 5 scenes from a lost holiday episode of House
Rating: R (just to be safe, nothing terribly explicit)
Disclaimer: All rights belong to Fox, David Shore, and MGM.
A/N: The scene titles/quotes are from the movie "A Christmas Story" and will hopefully amuse the person who requested this work of fiction if no one else. :-)

SCENE I: ""We plunged into the cornucopia quivering with desire and the ecstasy of unbridled avarice.""

His face was buried in her chest, his mouth hot against her exposed cleavage. Her t-shirt had been discarded moments earlier, thrown over his shoulder to join his own on her living room floor.

She stopped trying to figure out what they hell they were doing when she felt the clasp of her bra pop open and his hands came to support the weight of her breasts.

She was supposed to be on a flight right now. She was supposed to be heading somewhere warm; somewhere she could spend her short holiday vacation without worrying about her hospital and the people it employed. But she'd decided at the last minute to stay home, hoping she could at least hide out and relax before heading back to work.

Almost as if he'd been staking out her home, House had shown up at her door mere minutes after she was supposed to leave for the airport.

She'd have to try to remember later how they'd gone from talking in her hallway to making out like hormonal teenagers on her couch. Right now she was too concerned with getting his jeans off.

SCENE II: ""We knew darn well it was always better not to get caught.""

Her t-shirt was on inside out, her pajama pants were twisted and barely pulled up over her hips, and she obviously wasn't wearing a bra. It didn't look like she had on much makeup, except for the lipstick that was slightly smeared across her cheek.

He panicked for a moment, wondering if he had the dates wrong. He started to apologize for waking her but stopped short when out of the corner of his eye he spotted House, shirtless and struggling with his jeans, trying (and failing) to hide his amusement.

"Wilson, you have the best timing. Boss lady was just about to have her way with me but THANK GOD you're here to rescue me." House shivered dramatically and held his t-shirt in front of his chest defensively.

Cuddy turned to face him, the flush of embarrassment on her cheeks changing suddenly to the flush of rage. "Shut. Up."

"What, you thought he'd believe we were just doing Yoga together?"

Ignoring him she turned back to Wilson. "I am so sorry I forgot to let you know I didn't need you to come by. I decided at the last minute not to go and it just slipped my mind that you were coming by. Were the roads terrible? Did you have a tough time getting here?"

Still staring at House with a stunned look frozen on his face, Wilson shook his head no. He looked back and forth between House and Cuddy several times before he realized he wouldn't be getting an explanation out of either of them tonight. Well, House might be willing to share details but as long as Cuddy was within ear-shot she would put a stop to it.

Feeling the sudden urge to get out of there as quickly as possible, he smiled awkwardly at Cuddy and answered her, "No, the roads were fine. Actually I should be getting back out there before they do ice over and I get stranded." His voice was at a slightly higher volume than was normal, but he was in shock and House's look of amusement had changed to annoyance, signaling that Wilson should make himself scarce quickly.

SCENE III: ""C'mon, guys! Wait up!""

"So Brenda said that closing the clinic on Thursdays but keeping it open later on Tuesdays and Wednesdays might be one solution. What do you think?" Cuddy asked, stepping off the elevator with Wilson in tow.

He shrugged. "I'm not sure, but you have to think about whether or not you could…"

"Are you two discussing all the sex that Cuddy and I had last night?" House interjected, joining them as they walked toward Cuddy's office.

Cuddy looked bored. "We didn't have sex."

"Well we would have if he hadn't so rudely interrupted."

"Hey! I only came by to…" Wilson tried to defend himself but Cuddy cut him off.

"Dr. Wilson would you please wait for me in my office?"

"But…"

"Thank you," she said. He continued walking, mumbling under his breath about never offering to water anyone's plants again.

House smirked. "You know we would have, we were well on our way. Remember where my hand was when we heard the car pull up?"

Cuddy rolled her eyes. "Look, you can keep telling yourself whatever you want, but I would have stopped it before it went that far. I wasn't drunk or distraught enough to make that mistake."

She started to walk away when House called, "You mean make that mistake again, don't you? And you weren't drunk or distraught last time. You were pretty high though, high on my…"

She moved quickly and clamped her hand over his mouth before he could say whatever it was he was going to say for everyone in the lobby to hear.

SCENE IV: ""I have since heard of people under extreme duress speaking in strange tongues. I became conscious that a steady torrent of obscenities and swearing of all kinds was pouring out of me as I screamed.""

She was sexy when she was angry. "My office. Twenty minutes."

House had the decency not to smirk until she had turned her back to him.

-- Cuddy's office, 35 minutes later --

"Should I take off my pants now and save us the time, or did you want the pleasure for yourself?" he asked loudly from the doorway.

She quickly apologized to whoever she was talking to on the phone and promised to call them back later with more information. She didn't acknowledge his presence even after she'd hung up the phone.

He made his way to the chair in front of her desk and sat down heavily. "You told me to visit, remember? I'm not here of my own free will to tease and torment today. Let's get on with it."

Her eyes finally met his, her frustration obvious.

SCENE V: ""Fra-gee-lay. That must be Italian.""

"Be careful, these are new and they're…"

The sound of fabric stretching and ripping filled the room.

House's faux-innocent look would have fooled no one. "Oops."

The End

Ahh BRILLIANT! Everything about this I loved. The language and characterisation was brilliant, but also the way you've linked all the little bits together to form one big story. Fantastic :)
